Three steps, and you stay in charge

  1. Drop an app

Drag it onto the bin, or click to choose one.

  2. Review the list

  3. Remove what you choose

Ticked files move to the Trash, so you can put them back.

What it looks for

Mac apps leave files across your Library. App Vanish reads the app's identity, then checks the usual places.

Careful with your Mac

An uninstaller touches real files, so App Vanish leaves the final call to you. Check the list before you remove anything.

Unsure files start unticked

Anything that might belong to another app waits for your decision.

Open apps are never force quit

App Vanish asks an app to quit, so you can save your work first.

Apple's apps are left alone

System apps and protected folders are refused.

Your data stays on your Mac

There's no account or analytics, and the app makes no network connections.

Install App Vanish

Open the DMG and drag App Vanish to Applications. Builds are signed and notarized by Apple, and run on Apple silicon and Intel.
